I've been trying to install the new Service Pack for Max on two machines, but I just keep getting "Error 1920. Service 'Mental Ray 3.7 Satellite for Autodesk 3ds Max 2010' failed to start."
It goes for both the 32 and 64bit versions. I've tried running the updates as admin and have run the mrfix registry update from Autodesk without any luck.
Running Windows 7 x64. I know it's not officially supported, but there has to be some sort of workaround for this? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Hello, im using 3ds max in win 7 ulti, please try unistalling the 3ds max and the installing it in the admin account maybe it could help, use a registry cleaner and unintall de max completly. I think the problem is in the reg. It has happened in other versions of max too.
