LMUtil and the network.... Problems

Trying to query the distributed servers and find out momentary loads, so I
use the command string:
"lmutil.exe lmstat -c @SERVERNAME -a -f 46300ACD_2005_0F"
which returns the total license count, in use count, and a list of users and
when they camped on a license.

So far so good.... I take that data and parse it to get the numbers for a
report.

Occasionally, a remote server will not respond and you will get a message
like:
C:\temp>lmutil.exe lmstat -c @SERVERNAME -a -f 46300ACD_2005_0F
lmutil - Copyright (c) 1989-2004 by Macrovision Corporation. All rights
reserved.
Flexible License Manager status on Fri 1/27/2006 14:22

[Detecting lmgrd processes...]
Error getting status: Cannot connect to license server (-15,570:10035
"WinSock: Operation would block")

Other international located servers return the same almost all of the time.

Has anyone figured out what port is blocked or what timeout value must be
increased or what router setting must be changed, in order to get this to
work all of the time?

Thanks for any and all help,
John

Ok, answered my own question in record time..... I think......

If the server is specified as "@SERVERNAME" I cannot get the international
server, if it is specified as 27000@SERVERNAME it takes a few seconds but
gets there.......

Why is still a question for anyone out there........
