LMTOOLS Perform Status Enquiry very slow

Hi, one of our license servers has 7 packages totalling about 30 licenses. They are mostly suites. It is only running Autodesk licensing, no other flexlm vendors.

The Perform Status Enqiry button takes several minutes to execute. Could this be having an impact on autocad startup times in our network, or can I safely ignore it as an annoyance that only affects license administrators?

License file stop/start/reread can also be very slow.

I have tried turning on LMTOOLS ignores license file path environment variables but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

It's a thorough and slow process.

Thanks

I have one server running 14 licenses and perform status enquiry takes just under 2 seconds.

Another server has 22 licenses and perform status equiry takes just over 100 seconds.

Both are physical servers (not virtual) running server 2008r2 64bit.

I was really just wondering if others are getting this kind of slowness or inconsistency between different servers.

Perhaps I have the setup wrong somewhere...
