Licensing server setup

I'm having trouble getting LMTOOLS to work for Sketchbook Pro 2015.

I've used LMTOOLS before on a different VM so I'm fairly familiar with navigating it and getting it to work.

Under the "Config Services" tab, I have added the path to lmgrd.exe

and the path to the license file I downloaded from autodesk.com

After I "Start Server" under the "Start/Stop/Reread" tab,

then "Perform Status Enquiry" it gives me "FlexNet Licensing error:-13,66"

"Error getting status: No SERVER lines in license file."

So I add the SERVER line like i've seen on other license files (like Kyeyshot & PADS).

SERVER ServerName ServerMacAddress PortNumber

And then I get this error -15,570

"lmgrd is not running: Cannot connect to license server system.
 The license server manager (lmgrd) has not been started yet,
 the wrong port@host or license file is being used, or the
 port or hostname in the license file has been changed."

EDIT: I've followed the advice here and it still doesn't work.

did you generate a license file with the correct server name and MAC address?

So the problem is I was using the key.txt rather than a license file.
