License Transfer Utility - Export Request Failed

There is a 2011 LT license that is no longer used by one of the employee. We want to transfer it to a new employee. However, the LTU won't work, it says that the serial number is not valid, but it is valid, so I don't know how I can manage to install the software on the new computer?!?!

I have same problem with one computer and it gives error number 1 when trying to export both licenses.

 

Problem is with Autodesk 3ds Max 2012 and AutoCAD Revit Architecture Suite 2010

 

Can I have manual deactivation also? Can I sent my license information with private message?

Hi, I've the similar problem. It said activation limit reached when I try to install my REVIT 2014 student edition on a new computer. I've uninstalled the old one already, but it still don't let me activate the program. Can you help me with that?

Hi Junxian!

 

Are you still having issues activating your student software?

 

Just to explain a little, student software is only allowed one activation and any subsequent activation will produce an activation limit has been reached message. We do understand though that situations occur where reactivation is necessary such as installing it on a new computer due to the old computer having hardware issues or just wanting to upgrade.

 

In order to reactivate please, contact our license assistance team and provide your request code, who will then be able to generate an activation code.

Hi SPYAP,

 

As per our Private Message exchange, your software has been upgraded to a newer version and an automatic activation/license tranfer was no longer possible. Your product has been manually activated by our crew.

Hi,

 

We had purchased Autocad map 3D 2013,We have one license of Multi user Stand alone of 6 seats,
I am one of the user & I needs to Upgrade the OS in my laptop (in which the Autocad was installed).So once the system is formatted and new OS is installed need to re-activate the autocad.I have tried using the License transfer utility for the same but i am getting error reference 1.Please suggest so that i can continue to use autocad without issues after the new OS is installed in my laptop.

Hello Akhil,

 

Could be the issue that the license has been upgraded which would prevent the LTU from properly functioning. I'd recommend contacting our License Assistance Team for confirmation and/or manual activation assistance.
