License recover quickly

I have 1 license BDSU configured on the server, but they have 2 users utilizing this license, when user A stop using it, the user B delay in access to the license. I need this to be minimal. The adsflex.opt, allows me to set a minimum of 15 minutes, but this is too much. Please Help me with other options

Pd. the file .lic only have 1 BDSU and 1 autocad2014

1. Make sure that your AutoCAD and BDS license is generated on the same date. You can check this using www.licenseparser.com.

2.  You can request the license file by reviewing step 2 here:

http://upandready.typepad.com/up_and_ready/2011/11/quick-start-setting-up-a-license-server.html

3.  You can add a bit more time on the client to check the server so that it doesn't error out.

I would start with a value of 5000000 (which is half a second).  This tip is part of step 6 in setting up a license server on Windows.

I understand what you are asking.  Though there is no way to reduce the TIMEOUT for less than 15 minutes, what you might be seeing is a delay on the release at the client.  For example, if User_A has launched Inventor and then closes it, the actual inventor.exe process may not have yet exited from the task manager yet.  Until the application fully closes, it will not release the license.  The resident process will still send the keep-alive heartbeat to the NLM.  User_B should be getting a -4 error until it is released.  If there is another error involved, let me know.

I would at least start at the client and make sure the application has fully exited.  Then do a status enquiry on the NLM and verify that the license is released.  If it has not, then we'll have to dig deeper into the reasoning.

Good Day David:

1.- The licences have the same date. Attached  the license file. 2.- The licence works very well with only 1 user.  The problem starts when the license is shared with another user. 3.- I dont understand this,  I'll check it refers.

 Thanks for replying.

Good day Travis Nave, that's exactly my problem.   Indeed these processes are still running. The solution for now I'm giving is to enter the server and make a stop and start the server and the license immediately switch users.  Who recommended that you perform. Thanks for replying.

I have done this before with 10 users connecting to 1 client (via Teamviewer). If you add a bit more time to the client computers to find the license., you won't get the -4 error when the software license is being released back to the server.
