License Manager

Hello,

I created a deployment on the network for our Inventor Simulation Suite and
then installed Inventor on my machine using the deployment from the network.
The problem that I am having is that Inventor is not pulling the license
from the license manager, it is asking me to register it or it will allow me
to run it as a 30 day trial. What did I do wrong?

(We currently are using the network license manager for 9 seats of AutoCAD
and 9 seats of Inventor Suite. I was just adding the Inventor Simulation
Suite.)

thanks,

Joan

2 most likely causes.
Deployment site constructed for standalone rather than network license model.
2. error combining the license file.

Hi, Can I just modify the deployment or will I have to reinstall?

thanks!

It should be possible to modify the deployment.
I recall from earlier times though that you would need to modify some
registry keys.

It's likely easier to re-install since it's a supported method.
