License files and license server debug log parser

We have launched a new and free service that allows users to parse FLEXlm license files and license server debug log files as produced by the Autodesk license manager (FLEXlm).

OpenLM Online License log parser

The service is provided by OpenLM for free and the site does not show any advertisement.

We are looking forward to receiving your feedback on the new service and to learn how we can improve it.

Thank you,

Oren Gabay

Yes, I understand. It can parse license files like the autodesk licenseparser and also debug log files, from your flexlm license server.

Did you upload a debug log file? Did it work?

I didn't get any errors, but it doesn't seem to show all the information that would be useful, like if there is an options file, for example.  Or the version of the vendor daemon file.  There's probably a lot more information you can parse that would be helpful.

I would like to thank the forum for the helpful comments and inform on an update to the software.

These are some of the improvements:

  1. Added support for the new SLOG section that is supported by Flexera Publisher version 11.12. This is an initial support, we are working on a better reporting for this.
  2. Reporting of FLEXlm Options as reported in the FLEXlm debug log file.
  3. Report license server diagnostics.
  4. Better site error handling and reporting.
  5. Updated site layout and added a “What is Video?”
  6. Better drag & drop interface for files.

We are looking forward to receive your feedback.

During the last few days we have processed many license files and debug logs, gaining experience and receiving valuable feedback from users. Based on user requests we have published a new version that supports charts. The charts we have added so far are:

    1. Session Length Distribution By Duration
    2. Top 10 Used Features in Minutes
    3. Top 10 Consumed Features by Number of Sessions
    4. Top 10 Users by Number of Sessions
    5. Top 10 Denied Features
    6. Top 10 Denied Users

Session length distribution by duration chart

We hope that these charts will be useful and looking forward to recieve your feedback on www.alllicenseparser.com.

Sincerely,

Oren

Hi,

Are you able to provide us with a list of what the OpenLM Parser CAN and CANNOT do with the possibility of a Roadmap of what your looking to add to this in the future please?
