License export request failed

Hello

Due to some computer problems, I want to format my desktop. Before the format I want to export my Revit licenses with the LTU, to import them again afterwards. I managed to do so for my Revit 2014 license, but I couldn't for the older Revit versions (Revit MEP 2012 and Revit MEP 2013).

The LTU tells me the following:

Export Request Failed
The serial number you entered is not valid. Try again. (1)
Click the "Try again" link to resubmit the request.
Try again

Error reference:1

Thanks in advance,

Kristof

Hi @HKristof and welcome to the Community!

For direct activation and licensing assistance, please contact our License Assistance team by clicking on this link and then following the prompts:

Select “Activation & Registration” or “License Management”
Select appropriate subtopics from the pull-down menus.
Select “I Still Need Help” if you need personal assistance.

You will be able to contact the License Assistance Team either via Chat or e-mail.

Thank you

Yes, you need to install and activate the product manually, instead of license transfer for the older versions.
