License Error 20 Maya 2014

I am having an issue where Maya decides to post up a GUI license error.  And then gives this message to me

I do not know why, but I have tried to Uninstall and reinstall Maya, I have changed the FLEXnet Licensing Service to Automatic and started it, yet Maya still does not work.  I have tried to change the .env file to 657F1, still does not work.  I have tried deleting the little mysterious file with it's back up file, and it still has not worked.  I need Maya for portfolio work, please help!

Can you try to uninstall Maya and then install the free update?  The Maya SP is a FULL installer.

Had error 20, this worked for me! Complete uninstall. Shut down and restart machine. Install SP3. Works!
