put new 2015 license file into LMTools

Inventor 2014 still works

Loaded Inventor 2015, Tried to open and got this error: [0.0.0]

yes I put 2015 license file into LMTools. 2014 inventor is working

Unsure how to update LMtools to 11.12

you can uninstall what you got and install the one from the 2015 install or just download from here

and just replace the .exe files with the ones from the download

first you have to stop the license manger before replacing the .exes

1st i would check to see if the license file has the correct info in it

especially the MAC address matches to what it says in flex lm
