Hi there,
My office had bought a copy of AutoCAD 2012, single seat standalone license.
Yesterday before I left office, I had used the LTU to export the license onto Autodesk Server, hoping to import it back onto my home laptop.
However, when I clicked on the LTU on my home laptop, the pop-up says License Transfer is not available.
Please help.
Hello ngoldwax
Have you tried with this suggestion:
There are two possible scenarios:
The license files to delete are:
Which are located in the directory:
I'm having the same problem. I exported my license from auotcad architecture 2012 on one machine and am tgrying to import it to the new one. I click on LTU and it spins, but nothing happens. I'm running windows 7, and cannot find the folder C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet.
Avoid the LTU. In most situations, you can ignore it and reactivate on the new machine. Like in the case of the OP, you don't need to use the LTU to transfer from office to laptop, because the LSA allows for the 2nd activation. Likewise, if you are moving a license from an old machine to a new machine, simply reactivate on the new machine. This behavior is allowed and is quite common.
You can use the online method to activate your license here:

Good Luck!
Agree with Travis suggestion. That should be the fast and easies way.
If you do want to use LTU, you could try this way.
Good day
