For years we have used LMtools V11.5 on a Windows 2003 R2 server. Because this server has become obsolete we decided to move the licenses to a new Windows 2008 R2 server. this server runs the following software prior to LMtools V11.12 installation:
I requested our new licenses and combined them into 1 .lic file
Then i installed the autodesk network license manager using this guide.
I started the service and got the following message when i preformed a status enquiry:

We disabled our firewall, i have tried rebooting. I find it very confusing to have 2 LMtools services running on the same server using different versions. But since that is the same as our obsolete server who also ran 2 versions (for Autocad and MagiCAD) i suppose that's just the way it works.
Any help would be much appriciated.
If you require any additional information please do not hesitate to ask.

You need to properly combine your license manager files. It appears that you are using the path for MagiCAD, which is fine, but you need to verify that all the files are updated to 11.12 as well as the adskflex.exe being placed in the folder with the new lmgrd.exe.
C:\Program Files\MagiCAD License Server Utilities\Autodesk2015.lic:
You need to replace the lmgrd.exe in MagiCAD with the 11.12 version as it is currently 11.10. Then copy in the adskflex.exe as well. You should also update the lmtools.exe and lmutil.exe as well to 11.12 in that folder. Redo your service and save and start it. It should go.
Combining license files and license managers is not that difficult, but it is uncommon. I recommend it. That is why I created a how-to post on this.
For the best method to properly combine your license files, please read my entire thread here and choose the method that best fits your needs:

Let me know how it goes.
My apologies for the late reply.
You solution indeed fixed the problem.
Thank you for your quick and professional awnser!
