Subject says it all really. Maya is sold for $195 a month, you pay to OWN it, whereby the LT version is $30 a month, and is only by a RENTAL payment plan - is this correct or incorrect?? Much thanks for the right answer, i couldn't find a clear-cut definate one..

no thats incorrect

Autodesk does not offer a Pay to own payment plan

your paying for the use of the software that complies with the license service agreement and thats it

you do not own the software autodesk does

i suggest reading the license agreement before going any further

Thanks for the quick reply and answer Darren.

I just needed clear-cut definate answer asap as some corps tend to skirt around the price issue too much (not the license agrement itself which indeed usually is clear, but i need an answer like NOW since i'm about to purchase).

Thanks again..
