Inventor freezes before activation with GTX 660

Hi gusy,

I got Inventor Pro 2014 and the GTX 660 card. When I run inventor to activate it, it would freeze.

I had read about a similar problem here http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Autodes... they suggest to "Run with Graphics processor", but I don't have it, when I right-click the icon.

 

Tried also tips from here http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/inventor-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticl...

without any results.

 

If I would boot in safe mode, inventor would simply hold the loading window for a few seconds and close.

 

 

What would you suggest?

Ouch, I placed an old video card into the new PC, but the results are still the same. 😞

Win7, 64-bit

AMD FX 8350, 8 core

tried both on ARI Radeon HD 3870 and GTX 660

I just formatted the primary SSD, disconnected the secondary and installed fresh windows 7, 64bit. Still the same, freezes when loading.

 

in the INVPROSA2014ENUAdlm.log file I get this.

when I removed the file

 

-erase C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet

-erase C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Adlm

 

( as suggested here http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-2010-2011-2012/AutoCAD-2011-crashes-immediately/td-p/2787094 )

 

the loading windows just poped up and disappeared, without freezing. in the log file I get this

but once reinstalled again, the old freezing continues.

yet in C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet i see adskflex_00691b00_event.log , which has

 

20:15:38 24-06-2014  [P:1440],[T:1772]     EventCode: 20000009, Message: The service is incorrectly configured, reinstall
