Installing Maya2010 for Linux64bit " the Run is grayed out"

After complete intalling Maya2010, the pop up screen showed up when lauched. But the "RUN" button is grayed out and cant be selected. we dont want to activate it for now and it doesnt have connected to the internet. Just tried to evaluate the software using linux, our main machine is actually on Windows platform.

Any suggestion on this?

Thank you!

If the RUN button is grayed out, is because you have installed Maya since more than 30 days. Probably you made an installation previously and never use the software?
The trial period starts after the first installation, if you don’t use the software during the 30 days trial period, the time still counting.
There is no way to reset the trial period, once terminated, the only option is to authorize.

It's the new machine, never been installed. I have contacted Autodesk support team and found that the trial version with "000-00000000" wont work for linux. I have to put the serial on and activate it after that there is no trial period. 🙂

Please correct me if I'm wrong so the next time I will know the right way. Is this going to be the same license system for Maya2011?

Thank you very much!

Yes, the same solution applies to Maya 2011 for trial installation on Linux.
