After installing the software I'm left with these maps.
And files without extension.
Any suggestions/ ideas what to do or what went wrong?

I just tested installer for 64-bit DWG TrueView Download (the link is below) and it worked fine.
Please try reinstalling the program as follows:.
1.Log on with your local system admin account
2.Rename C:\Autodesk\DWGTrueViewx64InstallImage folder (this is the default location of Trueview installation content) from your previous installation
3.Disable your antivirus software.
Note: if your OS is Windows 7, please also disable UAC (User Access Control Manager)
4. Download DWG TrueView 2013 installer from the link above
5.Complete DWG TrueView 2013 installation
