Installation schemes...

So, needing to create an AutoCAD 2015 deployment and install for a small group of users who are mostly working on laptops and need to be able to work both in the office and remotely.  In 2008, Matt Stachoni's AU session AB218-2_AutoCAD_Architecture_Installation_Secrets_and_Techniques was a godsend and tremendous help in gaining a better understanding of how to create a system where users can have their own customization if they want and that worked well for them both in the office and away.  I've perused AU, this community, AUGI, and the web in general for something more up-to-date, but I'm not finding much that's helpful, at least not all in one place.  Obviously, I could be missing something valuable entirely, so any suggestions?  If you're a CAD manager or person responsible for creating and deploying installs, what do you use?  Point me in the right direction, please?

Thanks!
