Installation Problems

I have been trying to download the 2014 Inventor Pro software for the past 3 days but am unable to. Everything downloads that is with the program accept the actual application. I have tried un-installing and reinstalling several times and it does not work. I am downloading it, via the free 3 year trial for students in a university. When trying to contact my IT service at school I was told to contact you. When I try to download it I get an error message saying to restart my computer and disable my firewall, I have done so and it still does not work. I also have a Windows 8.1 operating system.

Can you provide an error log or screen shot? 

 

Otherwise, I would recommend that you try downloading your product using the virtual assistant by following the directions here:

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-...

Yeah, I'd download it from the virtual assistant link that I provided above.  Hopefully that will resolve your issue.
