Installation problems, not enough C: disk space

Hey guys,

Im trying to install product design suite as well as the simulator and I am simply unable to because apparently there are some files that refuse to install on my D:. I have set the main installation destination as well as every other library or anything on the list in the suite to the D:/ drive, but the suite still needs to install bout 16 GB on the C: drive (which is more than whats on the D:).

Ive got a small SSD for my OS drive and it simply does not fit the suite plus simulator files, no matter how many temp files i clear up. The only things i have left are the OS and programs that I need on SSD. Surely theres a way around this? Ive got +500GB on my D:, seems a bit silly to not be able to install a program because of disk space

Many thanks in advance

Karim

Please understand that some parts of the installation files are necessary to be installed on the root system drive. Shortcuts, registry settings, and profile customizations are all examples of this. However, you may be able to make some system changes that will allow you to install your Autodesk product and avoid this error. Please review my KB article for more information:

Good Luck!

I already visited that thread and read that article. I did everything on the list, still didnt create enough space. I was behind on several gigabytes.

Since I was installing the product suite and then simulator, I kinda managed by moving all the files that Autodesk installed on the C: drive (which were more than 10GB) to the D drive, and that seemed to make enough room to install the simulator. Not an elegant solution, but one that worked nonetheless
