Installation Problem

While waiting for autocad to install on my laptop, it has been stuck at 3.57GB of 3.61GB for some time now, and just says connecting, wasn't sure if this is usually slow in general or if something has gone wrong

Welcome to the Autodesk Community, @andrewromig!

 

There could be a few different factors related to a lagging install. Please check to see if you've done the following:

 

  • Turn off your personal firewall or VPN, if you use one.
  • Disable UAC

 

If that doesn't do the trick, please try downloading your software again using the Virtual Agent, changing your download method and following these precautions (in addition to the two above):

 

  • In the preferences or options area of your preferred browser, remove pop-up blockers and allow access to all *autodesk.com sites.
  • In the preferences or options area of your preferred browser, delete cookies, temporary internet files, and history.
