Installation Problem: acad2011.cfg

I have an installation problem in Autocad 2011.

After installing the program, when I try to open Autocad 2011 I get the following error message:

It is possible that the configuration file has been locked by another process or is read-only (. Cfg,. Bak).

File:\C:\ Users\tomas\AppData\Local\Autodesk\AutoCAD2011\R18.1\esp\acad2011.cfg

Correct the problem and click Retry or press Cancel to exit the application.

Can anyone help me and tell me how to solve the problem?

Thank you very much.

Are you a local administrator of your machine?

I have the same problem. Yes. I am sudo. I'm comfortable behind the terminal. What do I need to fix?

I FIXED IT!  << For all you googlers

Replying to this made me think of something. Run it like this from the command line:

-First get in the right directory

"cd '/Applications/Autodesk/AutoCAD 2011/'"

-Then run that bad boy

"sudo open ./AutoCAD.app"

The "sudo" here elevates you from user to administrator. This will give autocad priority over whatever process is holding its file, or permissions to write.

Here is the error for the google machine:

Configuration file may be locked by another process or have been set Read Only(.cfg, .bak).

File: acad2011
Please correct this problem and press Retry or press Cancel to exit the application.
