Installation of IV2014 in a Vista 64 machine

I have a fully functional machine that runs on Vista 64, where IV2013 is running.  It's and 8GB RAM, 500 GB hard drive with an Nvidia GeForce video with 1GB of VRAM.  I get a message that Vista is not supported.  Can I go ahead with the installation and if so, what functionality, if any would I lose?

AD is getting too selective if they do not support a machine that is not really that old...

Vista is not supported OS for Inventor 2014.

Please see the system requirement,  As you know Vista is not officially certified for Inventor, Inventor might be installed on it, there is some unforeseeable error might happen,Autodesk Is unable to promise it.

Why not upgreade Vsita 64 bit system to Win 7 64 bit OS? You coudl see more enhancement after the upgrad.
