Installation of Autocad 2014 failed

I received following failure notices in the installation log file when trying to install 2014 on a windows XP 32-bit machine.

Rollback DirectX Runtime Failed Failure is ignored, Result=1619
Rollback .NET Framework Runtime 4.0 KB2468871 Failed Installation aborted, Result=1619
Rollback .NET Framework Runtime 4.0 Failed Installation aborted, Result=1619

I have tried to update Direct X and also removed Net Framework and reinstalled and still the program failed.  I have also started receiving a message regarding Faro error as well.

Any suggestions?

Rollbacks are not errors.  Your real error is above that.  Please include the original logs in your attachments.

I tried to install again, watching when in the the installation where it fails.  Autocad 2014 goes to step 12 or 13 DirectX Runtime and that is when I get the failed to install message.

My recommendation is to place the installation files in a folder on your C:\ drive and install from there instead.  Make sure you have local admin rights, UAC disabled, and anti-virus temporarily turned off.

I was installing the program from the disk to my C: drive. What is UAC and how do I disable it?

No, I mean copy the files from your installation media to your hard drive and install from there.  To disable UAC, just go to Control Panel and type UAC in the search box in the upper right corner.  Click the UAC link and slide the bar down to the bottom.  Reboot.
