Installation issue AutoCAD 2014 an Mechanical 2014

We are installing version AutoCAD 2014 and have problems with the installing time from 2 till 6 hours for the installation.

The log file gives next information:

Etc…….

We find out that this is caused bij a Windows update KB2918614. The Windows specialist say Autodesk is using old MSI Installer.

 

Is there a sollution..... Have to install 150 workstations

As you would imagine, being a Microsoft update, there is not a lot we can do besides uninstall it. If this time is a significant problem, I would consider uninstalling the windows update first. Perhaps you could run a script prior to install and then let the Microsoft Update reinstall during the next update.

Your solution is in my opinion one for the short time.

I expect being a company with a subscription contract that our suppliers (Autodesk) delivers software, in this case on the Microsoft Windows platform, that will run without complex investigations why running that slow.

We had some issues this week, user with holiday etc.

In the attached file you can see the SECREPAIR of the installation package.

 

I'll try to fetch one with more installation time.
