Installation Failed

Hello everybody,

I'm a big problem, I can't installed 3DS Max 2013 (French 64bits student version) on my computer!

But, DirectX is already installed on my computer, and C++ so!

And just for future reference, my previous 3ds Max version (2012) also did not work, but Maya 2012 did for some reason. One worked, one didnt, vice versa. So instead of going through the hassle to get it fixed I ended up buying a student version instead of upgrading for free to press my luck. I tried uninstalling the past versions 2010,2011, and 2012 for Maxm but yet they will all not uninstall. Whats the best solution? Reboot the computer?

Have a look at this thread and see if the solutions there solve your installation issue please (the products are difrerent but the resolution should be the same).

I use Windows 7 home premium and maybe 3DS Max is incompatible with him?
