I have tried to install VC++ manually before starting the setup program but that doesn't help.
I have tried to download the program severla times, but with the same installation failure.
What shall I do to install the program?
1603 is a very generic error code. Can you check out the possible solutions noted here:
Hi,
I have deleted the registry for any Autodesk items, but with no luck. And I am running on WIN-XP with no UAC.
it always falied at installing VC++
Create a new admin account, then uninstall anything with Microsoft Visual C++, reboot your computer and try the install again.
Also, try downloading AutoCAD 2012 and see it fails in the same location. If it installs, then it may indicate that the ACA download may be corrupt.
So, is your only option to create a new account and uninstall all C++ programs or format your computer's HDD ?
To be honest I have the same problem with Revit Architecture 2013 (error 1606) after an interrupted install. No matter what version I try to use, I don't seem to be able to install a Revit version.
I got it working by just uninstalling Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 version x86 and x64. Then it installed with no problems at all.
