Installation failed for Maya 2015 Windows 64-bit

Hello,

I was attempting to install (Maya 2015 - WIN 64 - EN) on a Windows 8.1 device but it stated that it failed.

Here is the instillation log file (see below).  I'm not sure what is going on.

Any help would be appreciated; thank you for your time.

Hi

The installation failed when trying to download Maya, you must use 'Install Now', maybe there is internet disconnection during the installation. I recommend to download the installation files to your local harddisk by our Virtual Agent, and then install from local.

I also failed to download Maya. I would like to point out that I have Mcafee which is godawful at playing nice with other programs. But I disabled the firewall and real-time scanning though. And it still didn't work. I tried the "download now" option and it started downloading. But it canceled out upon completion. Actually installing and running maya should not be a problem since i have mudbox 2015 already installed (i copied the install file from another computer using a flashdrive). Downloading at home and school results in the same thing so i'm not inclined to believe that it's an internet problem. especially since a classmate managed to download the mac version of maya right next to me.  Here are the logs from the "install now" option(well it's attached)
