installation failed and no error code or anything

I get it downloaded and when I go to install it, I get about 3 seconds in and it says installation failed with no error codes.

 

The only words after that are "You may view the installation log file at ........for more information" and I can't find this either.

 

Studen installation if that narrows it down, please help.
