Installation error

To distribute applications from file servers to workstations, we use the Novell-delivered Application Launcher.

Recently stagnating the distribution of AutoCAD 2006 with the error "Unable to process registry setting HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Classes \ exefile '.

Cause of the can't edit of that registerkey is the installation of "Security Update for Windows XP (KB970430)".

What is the result of the operation of AutoCAD 2006 if this key is not modified?

It shouldn't need to write any changes to that key.  You might check the permissions settings on it.  However, if you get the option to ignore during installation, you might want to choose that and keep going.
