Installation error on Vista machine (32-bit)

I get this error when I try installing Mudbox 2013:

 

This installation package cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service.   You must install a Windows service pack that contains a newer versions of Windows Installer.  I tried installiing windows installer 4.5 and it said not applicable.

 

Please help.

make sure u Windows Vista service pack is latest..try download at www.microsoft.com 🙂

Please be aware that Autodesk 2013 products are not supported on Windows Vista.  Please consider using Windows 7.
