Install NavisWorks Manage 2012 client does not work

During installation of NavisWorks Manage 2012 I make a link to our server. However, NW2012 does not start.

This server works fine, because collegues of mine can start NW2012 without problems

Also, I do connect to the server correctly, because starting NW2011 works fine.

 

During installation you have to set the server model type (Single License Server) and the server name.

However, I have to set the serial number and product key also, otherwise the installation will not let me pass this step. Is this correct?

 

It should be enough to let the PC know where to get its license...

 

After this, still NW2012 does not start [0.0.0] error code

please make sure you have enough 2012 licenses on the serverfor you and your colleague

 

please paste a copy of C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ADLM\*adlm*.log referring to navisworks 2012.

Hi,

 

during pc install client you don't have to specify server model type.

This action is only on the server when you do a deployment.

Are you sure to choose network license ?

Could you also give us a screenshot of the error ?

Hello,

 

In the meantime I unstalled again NW2012.

After that I removed all folders that are corresponding with NW2012

 

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Navisworks Manage 2012

 

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk Navisworks Manage 2012

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\NAVMAN\9.0

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Navisworks 2012

 

C:\Documents and Settings\<<USER>>\Application Data\Autodesk\NAVMAN\9.0

C:\Documents and Settings\<<USER>>\Application Data\Autodesk Ltd\Navisworks >> folders starting with 9.

C:\Documents and Settings\<<USER>>\Application Data\Autodesk Navisworks Manage 2012

 

And deleted the CascadeInfo.cas -file in this folder

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\AdLM

 

Restart the PC

 

Re-installed NW2012

 

Now it works....
