Install 2008 LT on new machine

I have been using Auto cad 2008LT on a 32 bit system, Windows XP o/s with no Cad issues, but the computer and software are outdated.
I have purchsed a new 64 bit system with Windows 7 o/s, will 2008 LT perform effectively on this system?
