incorrect data being sent by sender in relation constraint

I'm getting unpredictable results from a sender (or 2).  They are not sending the correct data through a vector-to-number convert node.  I keep running into problems like this.  How can I know if this relation constraint that I've spent 2 weeks developing will not break?  How can I fix this problem?

I thought I was in the forum for Motion Builder... do I go to Technical Support then find MoBu forum? or Discussions?

 

Can you point me in the right direction?
