I bought an upgrade and it will not install, how do I get help or get a refund

Hi ca5555,

 

What kind of installation error did you encounter? Any particular message?

 

Also, if you want to get a refund for the Product you would need to go back to the reseller from whom you purchased it. If you purchased it via our Online Store, click here for the refund Policy and Procedure.

First, you need to make sure that you have local admin privileges, UAC off, and anti-virus temporarily disabled. 

 

Your product is failing to install because the prerequiste program required by the installer is newer than the version being installed. Please uninstall the prerequisite program causing the issue and run your installer again.

.NET Framework issues can be resolved using the .NET Framework Cleanup Tool. More information about this tool can be found at my discussion thread here:

That's fine. I just wanted you to be aware though that your installation log showed that the problem was not with the Autodesk software, but rather an existing prerequisite software issue on your Operating System.  Once that problem is resolved, you should not have any issues installing and using your product, should you decide to purchase again in the future.  Good luck!
