Hello,
We have Autocad 2011 network licenses (served by FLEXLM service)
Some users have borrowed already licenses from the pool.
How can I check :
1.how many licenses have been borrowed so far
2.which users have borrowed the licenses
3,on which date the users are supposed to return the licenses
On the licenses server I have LMTOOLS utility .
It lets me check the status of the license server.
For those users who have borrowed licenses it displays:
user_name COMPUTER_NAME COMPUTER_NAME (v1.000) (LICENSE_SERVER_NAME/27000 7157), start Thu 6/21 10:27 (linger: 480660)
I guess the text "(linger: 480660)" indicates for how many days the license's borrowed.
Is it possible to get the license usage information summarized?
(how many licenses in use, how many have been borrowed, etc.)
Thank you!
Milen
The licenses that are borrowed will show in use and will have (LINGER) listed beside that user. The number you see is the amount of borrowed time in seconds. You can use the math to figure out how many days that is. Borrowed licenses are automatically reclaimed at midnight on last day of borrowing regardless of whether the user returns them or not. That example that you show will have all the information you need about the user, computername, product checked out, and for how long it is checked out.
JTB FlexReport LT is a freeware that will show an easy to read HTML report showing FlexNet/FLEXlm usage including borrowing information.
Thank you TravisNave !
LMTOOLS gives me all the information I need ..
The problem is that is not well structured.
Thank you!
