home education licence?

Hi

I have a 9 year old who is keen on design, presently using free online software and getting frustrated.  I have used AutoCad extensively in the past and understand that it still is the industry standard in most industries.  I am therefore keen to install autoCAD for our non-commercial, educational use, but don't want to violate the educational licence terms.  Am I able to do this, can we get all or which options??

There's an age requirement to use the free enducational license - You must be 13 years or older. Please check our Education Special Terms for reference.

I have read the terms as indicated! I am over 13. We are required to learn a competitors product? or is there another option without spending ridiculous amounts? Phil
