I first started to install AutoCAD 2015 and then my internet connection was lost during the install process. So I uninstalled whatever was partially installed and I tried again. It kept telling me that AutoCAD is already installed and therefor I can't install it even though it's not installed. I even performed all the recommended tasks such as fuly uninstalling all AutoCAD software, deleting all the program files folders, deleting the registry items, and so forth. What more do I need to do to be able to intall it?

Hi, Welcome to Autodesk Community!
Please try to delete following registry if exists:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\7D2F3875100E0000102000060BECB6AB
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\7D2F3875100E9040112000060BECB6AB
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R20.0
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\7D2F3875100E0000102000060BECB6AB
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\7D2F3875100E9040112000060BECB6AB
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{5783F2D7-E001-0000-0102-0060B0CE6BBA}
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{5783F2D7-E001-0409-1102-0060B0CE6BBA}
Then you should be able to reinstall.
when i try to install it the product installer wizard comes uo and 3 secounds later it say "Network Failure". i can i fix this?
See step 3 here:
It's best to delete any folders with "wi" in it and use a browser download of the software.

Hi!
I'm having the same problem with Maya 2015. Downloading the student version whe installing it it says maya it's already installed. I deleted all registry keys i found through regscanner, and running a search with "Maya2015" in my regedit gives no result, yet i'm getting the problem.
Do you know of any value that doesn't get listed when looking for the ones named maya 2015 but still is related to this problem?
Thank you very much,
Yuri

I already have maya 2014 installed which i can't unistall since i'm currently working on a student project on it.

I used to use regedit but it's much easier to use Microsoft Fix It.
Here is an evolution of workflows to solve this problem....

Thanks for the answer David.
Actually i used a utility to delete all the values and now nothing related to Maya2015 seems to be in the regedit at all.
I also tried Fix It but i don't get Maya in the list of installed products. If i select not listed than it asks me about the product code (30 digits code) and i have no idea what code it is asking about.
Any clue?

This utility from Microsoft did the trick for me:

Good Luck!
Autodesk,
You can't be serious....very sloppy, expecting end users to make registry changes. I'm not doubting the capability of end users I'm just very very surprised such an organisation would get the end user to do such fix.
Further to that....after I made the registry changes other autodesk products are not working. Frikin furious.
I'm having the same problem, but im following the same thing but when i try to delete it it states that can not delete and i'm starting to get annoyed by this whole process. Just want to uninstall autocad 2014 and put the 2015 so my work can be compatible
Hi,
I have exactly the same problem but I can't find the registry you gave in order to delete it. What can I do?
