Having issues with activating the 3-year student version license for Maya 2015

Hello everyone,

I am new here and I have been trying to download and install the student version of Maya 2015 but so far, I have not been successfull.

First I tried it the regular way, on the Free Software Download for Students and Educators I selected Maya 2015, English and Windows 64-bit.

Then I clicked Install now but every time I tried to install Maya this way, I got the "Some Products Failed to Install" message.

So I tried it another way, I went to Virtual Agent - Download Links - and I downloaded something that was about 2.7 GB big, and then it extracted itself and it seems that it installed 3 programes, Maya 2015, Motion Builder 2015 and Mudbox 2015.

Now, when I try to run Maya 2015 and I type in my student serial number, it says its invalid.

What am I doing wrong?

Update: I tried to reinstall the software and it works. For now, issue solved.
