Hardware Configuration ? - 2 drives with Partitions increase performance?
We have a machine with 2 hard drives connected to a RAID controller. Basically we are looking for the best set up or practice to get the most performance out of this machine.
Some ideas we thought of are RAID 0 configuration, which would allow us to use both spindles on the hard drive and increas I/O.
Or should we leave the hard drives seperate and split and put paging paging files seperately from the OS and work space sepertae from the OS?

I think it is not the ggood forum for a question like that.
More indications will be good if you want to choose a raid.
It depends on what type of application you will use. Mail server are not the same as file server and Flexlm server and so on...
Some raid are good for Read and other for Write.
It's also a question of money.
