Hard drive died, possible to redownload?

I was running the sudent version of Revit Architecture 2012 until my hard drive died. I still have the original serial number and product key. Can I redownload it onto my laptop's new hard drive? Thanks.

Hi ValerieA,

You can download another copy of the License by logging into the Education Community site and then install it to your new PC. You would need to go through the whole Registration and Activation process as well.

My hard drive hasn't died yet, but it is slowing down considerably. If I get a new hard drive will I still be able to redownload all of my programs with the serial number and product key that I have, or do I need to transfer the license? I will still have the same computer in essence so I don't know if I need to transfer the license. Also I have the student free version.
