Group Policy Deployment Issue

I have successfully deploy Civil 3D/LDD 2006 via group policy. I am now
trying to get Civil 3D/LDD 2007 to deploy via group policy. I have created
the deployment image without problem. If I install the software using the
shortcut that is created, everything works. However if I install via group
policy, it appears to install correctly but I get the errors below when I
start LDD. I have conversed with Autodesk technical support and have them
stumped. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am out of ideas.

First thing to check is to make sure .net is installed and directx 9.0c is installed. These usually install when you install by hand before anything else. You bypass these steps when you use GPO.
Also, make sure your users have the proper permissions. to the program files and all users i believe.

Did you add any service packs to your images? What OS are you running on your workstation and server? Message was edited by: cnapierala

.NET and DirectX 9.0c is installed. When I start LDD2007 I am logged in as
Administrator so I know it is not a permission problem. I have tried it
with and without SP1. With SP1, it will not even validate the license. I
am running Windows XP with SP2 and all patches/updates are installed.
