Free 3 year student license serial number

Hi, I'm trying to install AutoCAD onto my laptop at home to work on my school projects but don't have a serial number to install it.

I've signed up as a student, started the 3 year trial install and it gave me the product key, but not the serial number.

Where can I find the serial number for the install?

Hi @jordanwstar, 

I am not seeing any Serial # using the email address on file. Please log into the EDU site again and download any available Products.

Once you have clicked on the download button, a Serial # is automatically generated and you will see that on the same screen. Also, an automatic email notification with the License details is sent to the email address registered. 

Reply back and let me know if you're still having issues.

Every time I try to install it I get the following message before Install:

We're sorry we cannot provide you with your license details at this time.  

Possible solutions

1. Wait a few minutes and try again.
2. Use the Download button to download and install your software, and use it in "trial mode" for up to 30 days. Return to this page before the trial period ends to obtain your serial number by re-selecting your product's version, language, and operating system.

Apologies for this error. 

In the meantime while this will be looked into, do try creating and registering for another account with a different email address. 

Let me know if you still have the same error with the new account.

The serial number is in the same email as the product key.  At least, mine was.

Hi I dont have the serial number, I never got an email for the 3 year student product. What do I do?

Your personal serial number should always be avialable on the Student Community, even if for some reason you did not get email.

I think I'm another one student inside this problem. System always says:

"We’re sorry but we cannot access or create your account at this time.

Of course I have an account in Autodesk Community, and of course: I tried many times before I started to search for help. 

Can anyone suggest what should I do, or where to ask for help?
