Found this on the back of an old server ......

Hi,  I just found an old Macrovision FLEXid dongle on the back of one of my old servers.

I'm guessing that it's for an older copy of Acad we ran maybe ......  ??

I have the info as:

HASP4 M1       217-10c

FLEXid  -   9-18C7F908

Can anybody tell me what this is for and when it might have been used?

I'm hoping that I can remove it from the server but don't know.

autodesk tracks by serial number in this format XXX-XXXXXXXX

that dongle can be used by several dozen products not just Autodesk

Yep, I know .... that's the problem .... trying to figure out what this little sucker does ......?

Maybe someone here might know from the key # or something - here's hoping.

Pull it off and wait for somebody to complain.  Plug it back in and see if that fixes it.  Sometimes thats the only way.
