FLEXnet Licensing error:-97,​121

we have users who are sharing a network license all getting this error and we dont know why. can somebody let me know what the error means and any possible solutions for this error?

-97  The desired vendor daemon is down.
1) Check the lmgrd log file, or 2) Try lmreread. 

 

In my experience, the license master daemon is running but the adskflex.exe is not.  This can be due to a mismatch in your LIC file or it could be a compatibility issue with the adskflex.exe and your server OS.  In fact, I see this problem often on Server 2008 R2 when running a NLM newer than 11.7.  However, v11.7 typically seems to work fine on R2.
