If a newer version of FlexLM is included with any product, you can assume
it's required. If nothing else, there are probably bug fixes you need. But
I don't know for sure.

There is a newer version that has to be installed or replaced. Not sure what
the CD will include though.

The version of FLEXlm shipping with AutoCAD 2006 is 10.1.5
