We have five floating licenses on our NT Server network. The pc's have NT
Workstation and are PII500 with 256MB RAM and 512MB swap file. 8GB of free
space on HD. We are running AutoCAD R14.

When one of my users opens AutoCad, he receives the error "Fatal
Error:smileyfrustrated:ecurity system (hardware lock or network license) is not functioning
or is improperly installed". When I run the ADLM it shows me that only 3 of
the 5 licenses are in use. This came from nowhere and happened all of a
sudden. Anyone know what could be causing this?
Insufficient memory to open drawing
I'm trying to open a 69mb file

running NT4.0 383 mb ram with swap 383 to 700 max
cad temp files open in D:\temp with 10 gb of free space

it will ask to Abort, Retry and Ignor

if I ignor it opens anyone have any support on this error ?

Check the date and time on the workstation. If it is badly out of synch with the license server, you will get this error.

I am getting the same error when I start the AutoCAD on the workstation. I have other workstations that are setup identically. The time difference is only ~5 minutes. Any other ideas?
