Failure 1619 on Inventor 2014 Reinstall (Windows 8)

So I downloaded Inventor 2014 a few months ago and found that it was pretty buggy on my Windows 8.1 (yes, I downloaded the service pack).

Yesterday night, I decided that it was time to try and fix the bugs and to reinstall Inventor, but upon reinstalling it, I get the failure message 1619.

I go through the download page, hit "Install Now", open the installation file, select what programs I want to install, and then it starts to download the materials library. After a minute, it comes up with "Installation finished" and all the programs failed to install.

I've also tried the same process running different web browsers and going through all my application folders and deleting/uninstalling all Autodesk files (as well as cleaning up my TEMP folder).

I attatched the installation log file for reference.

Any help would be much appreciated!

From the log file the install is failing because it can't download the files.

"2014/12/14:10:35:58 Max MAXG-PC Install Autodesk Material Library 2014 - Low Image Library Failed Download Failed, Installation aborted, Result=1603"

I recommend trying to download using the Virtual Agent option, make sure to download Part1 and Part2.

Once installed you will need the latest Service Packs and Updates.

So I have both the files downloaded in a file on my desktop, what do I do from here?

Once the files are downloaded double click on the file "Autodesk_Inventor_2014_Eng_64bit_dlm_001_002.sfx.exe" to start the Extraction Process. When the extraction is done is should launch  the Setup dialog so you can install Inventor 2014.

Thanks,

Danny

hi,

Windows 8 does not include .NET 3.5 (include .NET 2.0 and 3.0) by default. But if the user is upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 8, .NET Framework 3.5 is fully enabled. The user can make sure this feature is enabled by check in Program and Features. Inventor 2014 must needed .net framework3.5.find below link.
