Failled Revit 2014 Install

Currently using Revit 2013 on Windows XP Pro X64 Edition and during initilization process of Revit 2014 install am shown a "cannot install on current operating system".  Have gone back and tried all Autodesk download options with same result. Free disk space has been checked and is sufficient.  Keen to start using 2014.  Can anyone help please.

Because Revit 2014 is not support under Windows XP or Vista.  You have to run Windows 7 or newer: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=15385625&linkID=21208795#section4

autodesk isn't supporting XP or vista anymore with most of their products

so they block the installation on those OSes

its time to upgrade your machine
