Hi there
I'm trying to download Revit Architecture 2012 student version (and I desperately need to start using it ASAP!!)
I get an error message saying that the software failed to install and under the design review installation log file, it suggests that it can't install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable (x86) but I already have it loaded on my machine. Do I need to uninstall it before loading Revit 2012?
As for Revit Architecture and the Materials Library - there's no indication why it wouldn't load. Help!!
I installed Revit 2013 no problem at all but had to uninstall it because at school they're using 2012. I'm pretty sure I've uninstalled it properly...
Yes you first need to uninstall the Visual Studio 2010 redistributables then try installing Revit 2012 again.
Thanks,
Danny
Your product is failing to install because the prerequiste program required by the installer is newer than the version being installed. Please uninstall the prerequisite program causing the issue and run your installer again.
